When we think of Network Marketing, most tend to think of MLM, multi level marketing. This MLM model has a pyramid form of many levels and very small residuals that are earned on huge down line volumes. However, the infamous MLM “Pyramid” structure is not the only business model of network marketing. There is also the “direct sales” network marketing model which has huge upfront commissions and a breakaway residual after 2 to 5 tiers on average. The difference is in the upfront commissions and long term growing residuals.
Most hate the idea of network marketing. Selling their friends, family, co-workers and strangers can be shocking. However, it’s funny to note that we already network market to our friends and family when we go to the movies or to a new store. We recommend movies, stores, or products to our friends and family that we buy. This is network marketing without you being paid for it. The new economy of the internet also has created a way for network marketers to gather potential customers who are looking for what you have rather than being chased like friends and family.
In order to create a real business and not a Mickey mouse one we need a system that is proven. Most of us don’t like to sell, professionals do a better job at selling that us. Build or attain system where you don’t have to rely on your “SPONSOR”. Plug right into a simple and complete system. “Systems work, people fail” Old school marketing just don’t work as good anymore.
